Illustrated Map 50th Birthday

When Doug asked me to make an illustrated map of @grande_poobah 50th birthday run, with all the sights along the way, I OF COURSE said yes!

When my friend Claire first suggested (whilst drinking 🥂, obvs) that we run Trailwalker, I never would have dreamt it would lead to the best part of a decade long love affair with ultra running.

The HOTHs were born (Hot On Their Heels) and together, we have run countless miles all over the world, with the initiation test being an inagural Oxfam Trailwalker!

Our guiding team principal is WWCD - What Would Claire Do - and it is something we ask ourselves frequently, during a race, long run or just in general life. She is our sensi, our
sifu, our big sister, our friend. We miss her terribly and we wish so much that we could be with her to celebrate such a big milestone birthday.

We love you so much Claire, we miss you terribly, and we hope you have a wonderful birthday!
